In partnership with Seojung Art Center and Superior Gallery, UK Young Artists(UKYA) presents The Beginning, a group exhibition of selected young artists from UK and Korea, and Goryeo, a solo exhibition of UKYA ambassador Matthew John Atkinson.
As part of two year young artist exchange programme by UKYA and Seojung Art Center, selected through a national open call, 13 of the best young artists in the UK are traveling to Seoul to present their works at the exhibition The Beginning. The exhibition will feature various genres of art such as sculpture, photography, installation art, dance, digital arts, and literature.

Matthew John Atkinson solo exhibition Goryeo
Matthew John Atkinson’s paintings have evolved from ethereal, nostalgic hinterlands to eerily constructed, ambiguous paintings, which explore the moral and finite reality that humans have formed. His work has an unsettling power allied to a restless use of painterly skill. Superior Gallery presents his solo exhibition, <Goryeo>, featuring paintings that aim to express an intimate insight into the essence of contemporary Korea through foreign eyes..
