The UK–ROK Creative Industries Forum has been established as a legacy of MOU between the UK and Korea on co-operation in the cultural and creative industries signed on 6 November 2013. Each year, representatives from the UK and Korea share outstanding policy examples to identify a joint agenda for the bilateral development of cultural and creative industries. The first forum was held in Seoul in November 2014, and the second meeting of the forum took place in London in March 2016. At the second forum, five agreements have been signed for the co-operative ties in the fields of film, broadcasting, fashion, crafts and arts. This year’s forum will focus on the topics of game, e-sports, music, VR, creative contents (start-ups, publication) and will identify opportunities to build business partnerships.
