Global Education Dialogues(GED) bring together key policy-makers and influencers to debate the challenges and opportunities facing international higher education. They are facilitated dialogues between governments, universities and industry, with contributions and fresh perspectives from our network of leading thinkers.
The Global Education Dialogues series in East Asia provides a programme of dialogues to frame the debate on the issues affecting higher education in East Asia and the UK. Each Dialogue features the latest thinking in its area, with new research and input from higher education, government and industry leaders.
The British Council in Korea will be holding ‘Global Education Dialogues’ in J W Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul between 26 and 27 February 2015. The topic is ‘The role of technology in the race for global talent’ and the details are as below.
Global Education Dialogues: The role of technology in the race for global talent
This Global Education Dialogue in Korea will explore technology intervention in higher education, acknowledging the changes it has brought and the innovations and challenges it brings to higher education operations and development. The dialogue will explore three themes:
- Leadership – opportunity or challenge?
- New dynamics of learning and teaching and research.
- ‘I’- Generation and alternative education providers.
This event is being held in partnership with the Korean Council for University Education(KCUE).
